The Hebrew Congregation of Winnipeg Beach has been holding Shabbat services each summer since it was organized by a group of cottage owners in 1950. Serving primarily the cottage communities of Winnipeg Beach, Sandy Hook and Gimli, Manitoba, Shabbat morning services are led by congregants from July 1 through the Labour Day weekend. The services are conducted in an egalitarian fashion and visitors and friends are always welcome. The synagogue is also used intermittently during the summer for special occasions like bar mitzvahs and baby-namings. Since 1998 the synagogue has been located on the grounds of Camp Massad. Your donation to the Hebrew Congregation of Winnipeg Beach will ensure that our small synagogue will continue to thrive and enable us to provide a warm and friendly place of worship during the summer months.
