Helicopters Without Borders (HWB) is a registered charity that transports clinical professionals, medical goods, and other means of critical support to remote communities and populations across B.C.

Approximately 19% of Canadians reside in remote or rural areas. Many of these communities are situated hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of kilometres from the nearest medical facility. Helicopters Without Borders believes everyone, regardless of location, should have access to basic and comprehensive health care.

HWB has been in a research and development stage since 2017, as of January 2021 they received charitable status and delivered their first program delivering vaccines to remote and rural Indigenous communities in Western Canada. We believe that access to comprehensive, quality healthcare services is a fundamental right.

All of HWB's flights are carbon-neutral. We are fully committed to the stewardship of the lands we live and fly on. We recognize that aviation is a significant contributor to global carbon levels. In response, we offset all carbon emissions by purchasing carbon credits through the Coastal First Nations Great Bear Initiative.
