Furnishing Homes Changing Lives
Helping With Furniture is a volunteer-run, Ottawa-based registered charity that provides gently-used furniture and household goods to people who are restarting their lives after experiencing hardship. Our mission is to furnish homes with comfort, hope, and dignity. In 2024, we provided furniture and household goods to 511 clients, representing 1,265 individuals.
All money raised goes towards the purchasing of items for our clients, or for ongoing operational costs. If money raised exceeds project requirements or cannot be used as planned due to unforeseen circumstances, it will go toward providing similar items to our clients.
