The Henri Nouwen Society is collaborating with Prison Fellowship to bring a unique program, based on Henri Nouwen's The Return of the Prodigal Son, to prisoners. Utilizing the book, video teaching, and a specifically prepared workbook, prisoners will have the opportunity for self-reflection and accountability as they consider their relationship with their own fathers, their relationships with their children, and their relationship with God the Father who calls them beloved.

This program is being piloted in Fall 2023 and will be expanding across Canada with the dream of seeing the project expand across the globe in prisons all over the world.
