Our Mission

HIV Edmonton is dedicated to making life better for people living with, or affected by HIV and AIDS.

We do this by focusing on the elimination of HIV transmission and AIDS-related deaths and working to erase the stigma and discrimination faced by people living with, and affected by HIV and AIDS.

HIV Edmonton supports people living with, and affected by HIV and AIDS through developing educational resources for community organizations, healthcare professionals and the general public; delivering prevention, health promotion and support programs; and providing a voice for people living with, and affected by HIV and AIDS.

Our Vision is ZERO

Zero new HIV infections; Zero stigma and discrimination; Zero AIDS related deaths.

About HIV NETWORK OF EDMONTON SOCIETY (HIV EDMONTON)

HIV Edmonton has been providing support, community education, advocacy and prevention within a harm reduction philosophy to Edmonton and area for over 25 years. We are a community based, not-for-profit organization that works to eliminate HIV and AIDS related stigma and discrimination. Working collaboratively we use evidence-based research to stay current with the latest HIV and AIDS information. We pride ourselves on the delivery of innovative programs and services that promote dignity, health and well-being of individuals living with, affected by and at risk of HIV.
