Hollow Bone Healing Lodge is an Indigenous-led organization, dedicated to cultivating reconciliation initiatives that promote healing, understanding, and unity between Indigenous communities, Indigenous peoples and broader society. Our mission is to bridge cultural divides, uphold Indigenous rights, and empower communities through education and access to cultural resources. We are sowing the seeds of change for the next seven generations so that we may one day be looked upon as good Ancestors
At Hollow Bone Healing Lodge, we're dedicated to building bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. We believe in the power of cultural understanding to promote healing and reconciliation.
Celebrating Traditions: We work alongside local Treaty members, Elders, and Knowledge Keepers to revitalize Indigenous languages and traditions. This includes creating engaging educational materials and facilitating learning opportunities for all.
Empowering Through Education: Our workshops, events, and online resources foster cultural awareness and understanding. This knowledge is key to acknowledging historical injustices and promoting Indigenous rights.
Advocating for Change: We champion reconciliation at all levels, advocating for policies that reflect Indigenous perspectives and address social disparities. We believe in collaborative partnerships with governments, non-profits, and businesses to achieve lasting change.
Creating Space for Healing: We create safe and inclusive spaces for dialogue, community gatherings, and healing circles. We recognize the interconnectedness of cultural well-being with mental, physical, and spiritual health. Additionally, we provide access to cultural and spiritual resources, ensuring urban Indigenous communities can connect and access cultural resources.
