Hollyburn Family Services Society is providing support to seniors experiencing homelessness. To support this highly vulnerable group, we are providing phone services and in some cases face to face services (while honouring social distancing), we are providing grocery gift cards or dropping off food and other essential supplies as many of these seniors have compromised health issues. At the same time, for urgent and critical situations, we are trialing and assessing each situation on a case by case basis and responding accordingly with safety at the top of our minds as we gear up to meet new demands as the economic circumstances continue to challenge our low income seniors.
