Why Choose Holly’s Haven Wildlife Rescue

Holly’s Haven Wildlife Rescue is a local, CRA-registered, not-for-profit charity based in Dunrobin, Ontario. We are a small team of dedicated volunteers who are committed to providing excellent care to wild mammals that are sick, orphaned, or have been injured. We work and volunteer our time and expertise for free, with 100% of the proceeds going towards wildlife rehabilitation and charity operations.

Our mission is simple yet vital: to rehabilitate and release native wildlife while promoting conservation and coexistence through compassionate care, education, and community engagement.

In 2024, we successfully rescued 268 animals. We spent just over $103,000.00 in our efforts to protect and care for wildlife in the Ottawa area. This year, our costs have increased substantially as the number of animals coming into our care has risen. Everyday, we receive urgent calls from the public about baby raccoons, fawns, skunks, porcupines, foxes, coyotes, and other injured animals requiring immediate and costly medical attention.

Our Vision and Goals

With ten acres of land ready to be developed, our vision is to expand Holly’s Haven into a safe, enriching wildlife rehabilitation centre where wild animals can heal and return to their natural environment. We are expanding so that we never have to turn away an animal in need. 

We not only need financial donations, but labour and materials to help us achieve our goals.

• Build additional enclosures to house the growing number of rescued animals;
• Upgrade existing facilities to improve care and recovery;
• Develop an educational space for visitors and community outreach; and
• Restore and protect natural habitats surrounding our property.
