One of Canada's longest-running free festivals, Home County has showcased folk music, artisan work and the arts since 1974 in London, ON.
The Home County Folk League is a volunteer-led non-profit organization that enriches and supports the cultural life of London’s four-county community through the presentation of predominantly Canadian roots-oriented music and original crafts and art, at our annual summer festival Home County Music & Art Festival and various events throughout the year. In all our work, we ensure socially responsible choices and environmental leadership.
We serve an audience of over one million people, residing in the Home Counties: Huron, Oxford, Middlesex, and Elgin, as well as the counties of Lambton, Perth and Chatham-Kent, and the independent cities in those regions (London, St. Thomas, Sarnia, Goderich, Stratford, Woodstock, etc.). However, attendees of our annual festival also hail from as far north as Timmins Ontario, and as far south as the United States/Michigan.
Our programming is focused on representation and creativity of expression, as well as offers value to all citizens, in that it is low to no-cost for audiences to gain access to world class music, arts and culture.
