Chebucto Family Centre (CFC) is a Family Resource Centre and community hub located in Spryfield, Halifax. Established in 1877 as the Home of the Guardian Angel, Chebucto Family Centre has a long history of supporting local families and community members. The Centre provides a wide range of free programs and services, including advocacy and practical supports, food security initiatives, health and wellness programming, pre and post natal education and parenting supports, a Volunteer Doula Program, child and youth programming, and operates as a licensed Home Child Care Agency.
Over the many years of service delivery in Spryfield, we remain committed to our mission: to nurture and enhance the quality of life of families through the delivery of community-based programs and services.
