Home Suite Home Affordable Housing is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to providing safe, high-quality, and permanently affordable rental homes for individuals and families experiencing hidden homelessness and extreme poverty.

Our model is simple yet transformative: we design and build energy-efficient pocket-sized homes on leased land—so every dollar goes into housing people, not buying property. Each home remains a charitable rental unit forever, ensuring long-term affordability for generations to come.

Founded in 2024 in Stratford–St. Marys–North Perth, Ontario, Home Suite Home is growing from one pilot build into a replicable community-driven housing solution. With the help of local builders, volunteers, and donors, we’re proving that small homes can make a big difference.

Our beneficiaries include seniors, working individuals, and families who have fallen through the cracks of traditional housing systems—people living in cars, couch-surfing, or trapped in unsafe rentals. Each pocket home offers dignity, stability, and independence in a supportive environment.

Through partnerships, innovation funding, and community engagement, we’re developing a national toolkit to help other charities and municipalities replicate our model across Canada—empowering more communities to create local solutions to the housing crisis.
