Our Mission
The Homewood Volunteer Association (HVA) is a community-based charitable organization of volunteers whose mission is to support the quality of life of mental health and addiction patients at the Homewood Health Centre (HHC) and in the community.
About HOMEWOOD VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATION
The Homewood Volunteer Association (HVA) provides service and support to the Homewood Health Centre, its patients and the greater community. Your contributions benefit mental health and addictions by; supporting programs for patients and their families to learn about mental health and addictions; contributing to an enhanced environment and patient experience (eg. providing funds for patient library, fitness centre, horticultural therapy & creative arts program supplies, labyrinth and vegetable gardens); supporting the addiction medicine annual spiritual renewal services; providing basic necessities to patients in need; supporting staff training related to addiction and mental health.
