Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, currently led by renowned conductor Tadeusz Biernacki, Hoosli’s powerful four‑part male harmonies bring depth, emotion, and unmistakable energy to every performance.
The ensemble takes its name from the hoosli—an ancient Ukrainian string instrument similar to a zither. Symbolizing versatility, vitality, and cultural memory, the instrument reflects Hoosli’s mission: to honour the tradition and voices of the past while singing boldly toward the future.
