Hopethiopia will be hosting a Children's and Families mission trip to Ethiopia in 2025

Hopethiopia has been involved in the rural community of Harbu Chulule since 2009 and is registered as a Not For Profit in Canada and an International NGO in Ethiopia and Rwanda.  Hopethiopia helps out in the areas of; Orphan care and building a children's village, dental health and veterinary projects, reforestation, agricultural, educational, trades training, and water projects etc.

One family that will be joining Hopethiopia are the "Shanklands". They are a family of six with four kids ranging from ages 10-15 years.  They have always had a heart to serve, support and to love those around them whether at home or on the move. For several years, they have had a dream in their hearts to partner with Hopethiopia and to participate in the work they are doing. They are planning to live in Hopethiopia’s volunteer home in Harbu Chulule, Ethiopia for 3 months supporting Hopethiopia’s women and children, encouraging their staff and pouring into the local schools and medical centre. As a family they are all very handy and want to use their talents and abilities should opportunities arise. From assisting in the clinics (Jenna is an ICU nurse), assisting with construction or maintenance, caring for bees, or any IT needs, they are ready.
