Hospice Muskoka has previously held wonderful events at which butterflies would be released in memory of loved ones of those in the community. We have now turned our butterfly memorials into a year-round, virtual campaign.

You can select the colour of the butterfly based on the amount donated, and in the message section you are able to add text that you would like to be displayed on the butterfly, in addition to the name of the honouree.

Please be sure to add your Honouree with the dedication option.

All butterfly purchases will fly on the site (www.hospicemuskoka.com/butterflycampaign) for 12 months, at which point you may make another donation to keep your butterfly dedication flying. A physical "craft" butterfly will also be added with the honouree's name on the walls of Andy's House residential hospice facility in Port Carling.

Virtual Butterflies can be purchased at any point in the year. This means that you can mark a significant date along with your dedication.

Virtual release campaigns help preserve endangered species of butterflies and alleviate environmental and animal welfare concerns that can occur with a physical butterfly release.

Other loved ones from around the world are able to see your dedication, and they can honour the memory of someone you loved whilst supporting your charity of choice.
