About Hospice Palliative Care Ontario
Hospice Palliative Care Ontario is a provincial association of hospice palliative care providers, professionals, and volunteers throughout Ontario. We envision a future where every person and family in the province of Ontario can quickly and easily access the finest standard of hospice palliative care when required. HPCO supports our member hospices to provide services in over 450 communities across Ontario. These hospices care for more than 30,000 clients each year and provide grief and bereavement support to another 50,000 people. Thanks to generous donations last year, HPCO trained 2,685 hospice volunteers across Ontario at no cost to the hospices or volunteers. There are over 15,000 direct service hospice volunteers in Ontario. These generous individuals give over 1,000,000 hours of support to hospice clients throughout the province.
Will you donate and help train a hospice volunteer?
Please note: Hospice Palliative Care Ontario cannot direct your donation to a local hospice or palliative care program. Each hospice or palliative care organization is an independent registered charity. HPCO will use all donations made through CanadaHelps to support its mandate.
