About Hospice Palliative Care Ontario
Hospice Palliative Care Ontario is a provincial association of hospices and palliative care providers, professionals, and volunteers throughout Ontario. We envision a future where every person and family in the province of Ontario can quickly and easily access the finest standard of hospice palliative care when required. There are over 90 hospice programs in Ontario, supported by over 14,000 volunteers. Volunteers give almost 1,000,000 hours of service to more than 21,000 clients each year.
Please note: Hospice Palliative Care Ontario CANNOT be directed to send your donation to another hospice organization such as a local hospice or palliative care program. Each hospice or palliative care organization is an independent registered charity. All donations made through CanadaHelps will be used by HCPO to support its mandate.
If you cannot locate your local hospice or palliative care program on CanadaHelps chances are it is not yet a registered charity and therefore does not quality for charitable donations.
