DONATE GENERAL
Sheltered Path (formally known as Aman Lara, Pashto for Sheltered Path), is the Canadian-based NGO of veterans, former interpreters and volunteers that was established in the summer of 2021 in response to the crisis in Afghanistan. We safeguard, advocate for, and evacuate people from nations in crisis with an eligible path to resettlement in Canada. We have partnered with the Government of Canada for much of our work but need additional support for:
- Evacuations by land and by air;
- Temporary accommodations in-country prior to evacuation and in intermediary countries prior to onward movement to Canada; and
- Communication and data management systems for coordination between the applicants, government of Canada and resettlement mechanisms.

- Assisting with the development of pathways out of Afghanistan for people in the humanitarian category, including application and documentation support;
- Evacuation by land or air;
- Resettlement coordination through private sponsorship or other programs the government has provided to bring at-risk Afghans to Canada; and
