Humber River Hospital's Volunteer Association is a self-governed organization and has a long and proud history serving our patients, hospital and community.
Humber River Hospital is North America's first fully digital hospital and is one of Canada's largest acute care hospitals serving more than 850,000 people in the northwest Toronto area. The Volunteer Association is dedicated to raising funds to support and enhance the exceptional patient care provided by our staff. Since 1999, the Volunteer Association has raised over $5 million dollars. Every donation made to the Volunteer Association is put directly towards the purchase of equipment to better serve our patients and their families. The Volunteer Association also provides scholarship opportunities to student volunteers entering post-secondary education.
