Dear Friends, 

The Humbercrest United Church Stewardship Committee has commenced a “Fund the Furnace” campaign to raise $100,000 to cover the cost of our new furnace. You may already know that our church heating system suffered an irreparable break down in January 2019 that forced us to move to a warmer worship space for several weeks. 

We are grateful to historical Lambton House on Old Dundas Street for welcoming us each Sunday for morning worship while the heating and cooling professionals at Biss Inc. and our Building and Grounds volunteers worked hard to install a new, environmentally responsible heating system in the church as quickly as possible.

Our wonderful, welcoming church has been serving various user groups such as Scouts, Alcoholics Anonymous, and city recreation programs as well as the Baby Point community for more than 100 years and she is showing her age! 

We need your help to pay for the new furnace.  We welcome your tax deductible financial assistance.  All contributions are greatly appreciated. No amount is too small or too big!
