The Huntsman Marine Science Centre is a private not-for-profit charity, registered in Canada in 1969, with a mission to inspire ocean stewardship through educational experiences and advance collaborative marine research. As a private institution, Huntsman relies on the contributions of donors and its own activities (e.g., entry fees to the Fundy Discovery Aquarium and research contracts) to operate and maintain our infrastructure in the absence of core funding from any level of government.
The Huntsman is grateful to donors – including alumni, students, staff and friends – whose philanthropic support have built critical infrastructure, enhanced education and research opportunities, and left a legacy of ocean stewardship for the next generation.
