Promoting and Protecting Children's Rights Worldwide
The International Bureau for Children's Rights is a non-governmental organisation that has been working for children's rights for more than 25 years, in Quebec and in more than 50 countries in Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Through a participatory and sustainable approach, we work with our partners in the field to promote and protect the rights of children, whether they are in contact with the justice system or facing a humanitarian crisis, caused by armed conflict or natural disaster. We also work to prevent all forms of exploitation, violence, abuse and neglect of children, including for sexual purposes.
Listening to, involving and protecting children is at the heart of everything we do:
- 3 offices worldwide
- Around 40 permanent staff
- Over 61,200 professionals trained in children's rights
- The rights of over 2.5 million children better protected through our actions
