Van Es Camp & Conference Centre is a Moravian Church camp and retreat facility located on the land near Sherwood Park, Alberta. For decades, Van Es has offered a peaceful, purpose-built space where individuals, families, faith communities, and organizations can step away from the noise of daily life to rest, connect, and discern together.

Rooted in the Moravian tradition of hospitality and community, Van Es exists to serve. Welcoming guests from across Alberta and beyond for retreats, conferences, school programs, weddings, and gatherings of all kinds. Whether it's a church youth group finding their footing in faith, a quilting group gathering for a weekend of creativity and connection, a nonprofit team re-aligning around their mission, or a family celebrating a milestone, Van Es holds space for it all.

We are more than a venue. We are a place of presence, where people encounter stillness, community, and the grace that comes from being welcomed.

Your support helps us maintain and grow this space. Current priorities include supporting our summer camp programs, completing our Retreat House and replacing the aging roof on our Harmony Centre, infrastructure investments that will allow Van Es to serve guests for generations to come.
