Founded in 1984 the Burnaby Multicultural Society (BMS) is dedicated to building a society based on equity and mutual respect amongst diverse groups. We encourage the full participation of people of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Our programs and services can be divided into the three broad categories of the Multiculturalism Policy of Canada: Identity, Civic Participation and Social Justice.
