Funding critical pediatric oncology research and clinical trials while delivering support, and services for families affected by cancer.
Childhood Cancer Canada, established in October 1987, is the leading national foundation dedicated to funding pediatric oncology research, while delivering support and programming for families affected by childhood cancer. In Canada, six children are diagnosed with cancer each day. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the entire family is affected. Our efforts toward more positive outcomes for children, adolescents, and young adults fighting cancer in Canada are carried out by our different programming, including Compassionate Care Programs, Survivor Scholarships, EmPower Packs, and Public Awareness initiatives.
Childhood Cancer Canada serves nationwide and supports the over 10,000 children and families currently experiencing childhood cancer. Each year over 1500, children are diagnosed with a form of childhood cancer, and CCC is here from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.
