The IDF Widows and Orphans Organization was founded in 1991 as the sole organization recognized by the State of Israel to represent the widows and orphans of Israel’s fallen Defense and Security Forces.
Today, we work with over 8,000 women, men, and children whose loved ones have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our homeland, by providing them with essential financial and emotional support.
IDFWOCA is a sister non-profit organization registered in Canada (Charity No. 8549079) working directly with IDFWO on behalf of the widows, widowers, and orphans of Israel’s fallen soldiers.
IDFWO Canada is committed to providing grief support, financial aid and various welfare programs to IDF widows and orphans, with particular focus on the religious life cycle events and social activities of IDF orphans.
IDFWO Canada proudly supports the Bar & Bat Mitzvah North America trip, welcoming IDF orphans into their homes and hearts every year, thanks to their dedicated volunteer board and all of their Canadian supporters.
