BIG NEWS! We have launched our newest campaign: the #PIeChallenge. The #PIechallenge is a social media awareness/fundraising campaign for PI (primary immunodeficiency).
What is it?
The way we’re asking you to spread awareness/fundraise is to bake a homemade pie, post a photo of the pie on social media with our attached copy/paste message, and then tag at least 3 friends that you think have a knack for baking or a love for a good cause to take on the challenge. We encourage you to get as creative with your pies as possible. They can be decorative, they can be weird, they can be enormous/tiny, they can be apple pies, pumpkin pies, or pizza pies. The choice is yours! Have fun with it!
Lastly, we are asking for a donation of $5.00 once you have posted your photo. 100% of your donation will go to the cause.
When do I start? As soon as possible! It started Friday October 7th, 2016 and it’s not stopping until March 14, 2017!
Make sure to follow Immunodeficiency Canada’s social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) to see the delicious results!
Here is the copy/paste message to use for social media:
I am doing the #PIechallenge. The #PIechallenge started to spread awareness for the condition PI (primary immunodeficiency) through the non-profit Immunodeficiency Canada.
What is the challenge?
- Bake the best – the prettiest, the weirdest, the tastiest - pie you can.
- Share the photo of your masterpiece on social media with this message.
- Nominate 3 friends to see if they can match your baking skills.
- Donate $5.00 to the cause at www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/immunodeficiency-canada/piechallenge
- Eat pie!
If you want to share your masterpiece with Immunodeficiency Canada, you can tag or message them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Or, you could email the photo and your name to firstname.lastname@example.org to be featured on our social media and entered into our contest for the three most creative pies.
I nominate ________, ___________, and __________ to bake a better pie than me. Are you up for the challenge?
