We provide shelter, support and counselling and advocacy to help abused women and their children break the cycle of violence.
Our Mission:
Since 1981, Embrave Agency to End Violence (formerly known as Interim Place) has provided shelter, support, counselling, and advocacy to over 49,000 survivors and their and children.
Embrave Agency to End Violence is a dynamic anti-violence organization providing shelter, counselling, and advocacy supports for women, Two-Spirit, gender queer, trans, and non-binary folks and their children experiencing any form of violence in the Region of Peel.
Our programs include:
• Two 24-Hour Emergency Shelters for survivors and their children experiencing violence
• 24-Hour Crisis Support Line for survivors in the community who have experienced violence
• Community Support and Outreach Program for survivors living in the community who have or are experiencing violence
• Central Intake Line providing coordinated access to Transitional Housing Supports in Peel Region
• Sexual Violence Counselling Support Program
• Public Education Program
• Lead Agency for the Peel Committee Against Women Abuse (PCAWA)
