Visitors from across the world are welcomed throughout the seasons. Features include the Conservatory, home to over 5000 species of Cacti and succulents - including rare and endangered species from across the world, and an area where art and cultural displays are featured. The Formal Garden includes more than 80,000 flowering plants including an 18-foot floral clock. Along the garden path is the 9-11 Memorial site with girders from the Twin Towers, floral displays representing the US and Canadian flags, flag displays of many nations and tribes.
Soothing sounds of both the Carillon Bell Tower chimes, the formal water channel, and Dove of Peace fountain provide calming waters.
At nearly 2,400 acres, the Garden also offers many visitor experiences. From kayaking, canoeing, bird watching, camping, hiking, biking, events, to snowshoeing and cross country skiing on the winter trails, many opportunities are available for enjoying the beauty and sounds of nature throughout the seasons.
Visitors may also enjoy the Butterfly and Pollinator garden. The endangered Monarch butterfly and other species are often seen enjoying the gardens each summer.
When possible, the cafe includes freshly picked items for a farm to table experience.
The gardens are a great place to enjoy all that nature can offer. Wildlife including moose and deer roam across the vast land area.
Wonderful photography opportunities abound.
Please help support our mission, as we are promoting the ideals of peace between nations while enriching lives through conservation, education, recreation, art, culture, and reconciliation.
Thank you so much for helping our cause.
