A 15 year war in Congo killed more than 5 million people and left an estimated 2 million orphans. Yet it did not make headline news.
International Widows & Orphans Fund (iWOF) was formed to change the lives of these vulnerable children - as many as we can, in one of the world’s most dangerous places to live.
Our Vision is to partner with orphanages in eastern Congo where we recognize their local knowledge to minister to the children. We provide resources, accountability and vision. We see it as a true partnership.

What People Are Saying
"It is a child's basic right to have three meals per day, a safe place to sleep, access to health care and to love and be loved. We believe that education is a proven way out of poverty, and that children can only truly learn when they are fed, healthy, feel secure and are cared for."
— Johann Van Rensburg - President iWOF
