We have partnered with NY School that still under construction less than 10 minutes walk from the orphanage. The two lower floors are already being used for classrooms and currently host around 200 students, including our kids.
This fits into our strategy "To Partner, To Improve, Everyone Wins" as we get more actively involved in education in Uvira. Our head of Education, Mr. Malilo is acting as an advisor to ensure a quality education program. Our plans for the future are to add a library, a computer lab, and a science lab.
