Every 2 minutes, a child under 5 dies of Malaria. According to the World Health Organization, over 400 children die every day in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and almost half of them from Malaria. One of the best ways to protect the children from this life threatening illness is to ensure that they sleep under insecticide-treated nets. Your gift of $20 will supply 2 insecticide-treated nets to children at Grace Orphanage in eastern Congo.
We need to purchase 36 new nets for the children that we are taking off the streets and into a loving home, as well as replace some of the older nets in the other houses at Grace Orphanage.
