The Invermere Film Festival's goal is to create a vibrant sustainable festival that engages the community, provides economic benefits to Invermere and the Columbia Valley, and becomes an integral part of the community’s identity. Over the past seven years we’ve seen this vision come to life, with festival attendance more than doubling, reflecting a remarkable level of support and enthusiasm from both residents and visitors. In addition to the festival’s expansion, two unique offerings have added depth to our arts and culture delivery. Filmmaking courses for youth and community members foster education, skill development and networking, while Monthly Movie Nights offer year-round entertainment and opportunities for social connection. Together, these three initiatives are a growing contribution to building a stronger, more connected community and tourist destination.
