We operate a Bakery and a used clothing store in Inverness, Nova Scotia. Our participants come from a catchment area that spreads from Margaree to Port Hood on Cape Breton island. Through their participation in our programs they learn skills in literacy, numeracy, customer service, personal development and independence. They learn how to use equipment like commercial mixers, ovens, cash registers, paper shredders and computers to name a few. Through our Supported Employment program, some participants get opportunities to work in businesses in the community where they can earn money, socialize and be integrated into the community at large.
