Islamic Relief Canada (IRC) has launched an emergency appeal in support of those who have been affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia on September 28. The charity is calling on Canadians to donate generously to the thousands of survivors who are in need of immediate assistance.
Islamic Relief is the world’s largest Muslim NGO and has been doing humanitarian work in Indonesia for nearly two decades. Proceeds from this emergency appeal will go toward providing all those who have been affected with food, life essentials, and medical aid. $60 can feed a family for a month, $150 can provide life-saving essentials, and $250 can provide urgent medical aid.
