Assalam-o-alaikum Brothers and Sisters in Islam: We would like to congratulate you that Alhamdullilah, the city of Kingston has approved the long-awaited BUILDING PERMIT for the extension of the Islamic Center Kingston.

ISK owes an outstanding building permit fee in the amount of $69673.42 which must be paid before the issuing of the permit. We would like to have the permit at the inception of the new calendar year to proceed with the project. Therefore, we must raise the building permit fee by December 31, 2020. 

We are appealing to you to please donate generously to meet the rounded figure target of $70,000. You can make your donations online, through credit card or cash at the time of Jumma prayer; you can also send your cheques to ISK treasurer or hand in to any member of ISK executive clearly indicating that it is for the extension of the ICK. 

Your charitable donation will be submission to Allah SWT command in the verse below to donate in charity for a better and greater reward. 

Establish prayer and give charity and loan Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah. It is better and greater in reward (Al-Muzamil 73.20)
