Our Mission:
The Islamic Society of Toronto is a Non-profit, registered charity located in the borough of East York, Central Toronto where over 100,000 Muslims have settled and the Muslim population is growing rapidly. It provides the following services to Muslims since 1991.
* Daily five times prayer, Friday Prayers, Eid Prayers, Taraweeh congregational prayers. Over 6000 Muslims attend our congregational prayers.
* Islamic Education to Muslim children. Quran’ic recitation, Islamic Studies, Hifzul Qur’an, Alimiya class and moral Islamic values.
* Family and youth counselling.
* Dawah programs.
* Marriage services.
* Youth Programs
We are now operating from 20 Overlea Blvd.
* A bigger prayer facility to accommodate more people.
* A full time Islamic Education for religious teaching.
* A large Islamic library.
* Gym facility for our youth.
* Youth development programs throughout the year
