September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and Island Kids Cancer Association (IKCA) would like to acknowledge all of the kids, youth, adult childhood cancer survivors and their families affected by a childhood cancer diagnosis. This journey is filled with many challenges and is life changing for the entire family.  Island Kids Cancer Association strives to provide year round outreach, opportunities and support for Vancouver Island families, every step of the way, addressing critical needs such as mental health and wellness and providing child / family based programs.

Island Kids Cancer Association believes no family should face childhood cancer alone, and community is critical to our outreach. We provide kids, youth and their families with resources and support and we are able to do this because of amazing people who care. IKCA provides crucial and practical assistance such as grocery and fuel vouchers, financial assistance, and also opportunities for families to BE together, in each moment and create lasting memories.
