Israeli Victims of War (IVOW) Association | Making a Difference in the lives of Isreali Youth
About IVOW Association
Founded in 1984, IVOW has been providing Israeli Bar and Bat Mitzvah age children whose families have been affected by war, military service, and terrorism, with the unique opportunity to spend a month in Canada during the summer. The children spend a few weeks at a Montreal area Jewish community camp following which they spend a final week visiting Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.
Benefits of this program are priceless. The program provides Israeli children coming of age under difficult circumstances with both a memorable and meaningful experience, along with the unique opportunity to build new relationships. The program also serves to strengthen the bond between the Canadian and Israeli communities.
