About JA Quebec

JA Quebec’s educational programs (formerly Jeunes Entreprises du Québec) and its volunteers are dedicated to offering free training for students between 10 and 18 years old. These programs teach work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Our goal is to encourage young people to make smart financial decisions, start a business, develop a career path and be innovative.

History

The JA organization was founded in the USA in 1919 and was first implemented in Quebec in 1962. JA is now a worldwide phenomenon. Active in 120 countries and on 5 continents, JA Quebec is a member of Junior Achievement Canada and JA Worldwide, the largest youth business education organization in the world. With 400,000 volunteers, JA makes a direct impact on the lives of 10 million young people worldwide.
