Jaaja Barb's Home of Angels is a non-profit organization in Canada and a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) in Jinja Uganda, East Africa. Certificate of registration is No.13158, issued by the Jinja District Local Government.
We were established in 2009 by Barb Giraud residing in Canada and Edwin Lufafa in Jinja, Uganda. Barb and Edwin have built this home solely to house orphans who are in desperate need. These vulnerable children are alone, some living with HIV/AIDS and in acute poverty. It is our intention to house, educate and protect them. We knew of no other way than to bake banana bread. To date (2023) we have baked 17,000 and with the word spreading and donor assistance, we are able to continue this journey of providing a home full of love and hope.
