Help bring JA programs to Indigenous Communities
ABOUT CAMPAIGN

Campaign by Junior Achievement British Columbia

The demand for JA education programs continues to grow in Indigenous communities. With the gap in the core school curriculum on the topics of business and financial education, students are often not prepared for the economic and career challenges they may face.

Indigenous youth represent one of the fastest growing demographics in B.C. For this school year, JABC has set a goal to bring 124 JA programs to Indigenous communities, including in-community schools, band offices, and Friendship Centers in urban areas.

JA programs prepare young people for the future of work, teach them how to think entrepreneurially, and ensure they have the tools to be financially capable adults. A JA program not only impacts the student, it can also positively affect community members, educators, parents and siblings.

Why JA?

By supporting JA British Columbia, you are investing in the future our youth and our province as a whole. Your contribution will ensure that our programs remain accessible to all. Thank you for your consideration. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young people in British Columbia. Learn more at jabc.ca.
