Julien's House offers a welcoming place for people anticipating, affected by the death of a loved one to find support and grief companioning
At Julien’s House, we believe in grief companioning: the power of people who have lived through grief to gently guide and support others on their own path. Our peer-to-peer model is rooted in the philosophy of Dr. Alan D. Wolfelt, PhD, who teaches that healing happens not through “treatment,” but through compassionate presence, community, and shared humanity.
Every day, people in Windsor-Essex come to Julien’s House seeking a safe place to talk, listen, and begin to heal. Your generosity ensures we can continue to offer these essential programs at no cost to the community.
