About JA Southern Alberta 

For over 60 years Junior Achievement Southern Alberta (JA) has been engaging local business and community leaders of Alberta in its mission to help students develop an entrepreneurial attitude, a solid and practical understanding of business and finance and a commitment to community.

JA is the link between students and the business world, giving youth the confidence and knowledge they need to define personal success, enhance their workforce readiness and pursue their dreams. Furthermore, JA inspires youth to make informed, educated and knowledgeable financial decisions, start companies, develop career plans and express their innovative spirit. We do this by providing valuable programs for youth designed around three main pillars: Financial Literacy, Work Readiness, and Entrepreneurship.

In direct partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their mind and their potential. This has all been made possible through continued financial and voluntary support of companies and individuals, who share the Junior Achievement philosophy and ideals.
