My Name is Cassie McNutt, I am honored to be a 2023/24 Kamloops Ambassador and I am a grade 12 student at Valleyview Secondary School.  I am the founder of Cassie’s Annual Charity Drive supporting Kamloops Hospice Association and the 2023 Recipient of The City of Kamloops Exemplary Service Award. I, along with my family started fundraising five years ago working to support charities in our community to help show what the holidays are all about, spreading joy and giving back, and I am proud to say that we have continued this initiative every year since.  

The past two years alone my combined goal for hospice was to raise $30,000, I was fortunate enough to raise an amazing $77,587 through gracious donors like yourself. Your donation can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most. No donation is too small, and every little bit helps. This year Cassie’s Charity Drive is continuing to campaign for much needed medical beds for the care and comfort of loved ones. My goal this year is $80,000, the remaining amount left to complete the bed campaign.

On December 2nd, I will kick off a month-long campaign with an amazing community light display at our home 5215 Dallas Drive. This campaign will include a 50/50 draw (beginning November 15^th) and the collection of wish list items for Kamloops Hospice. The community is welcome to come by our home to enjoy the lights, feel the love and cheer what the season has to offer.
