Kammerchor London is a professional ensemble performing high quality music with a focus on early music.
Originally created for the performance of Bach Cantatas sung one voice per part with minimal instrumental accompaniment, we have grown to a larger group with expanded repertoire possibilities from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Performers can change for each event. New voices and instruments are always welcome, as we try to give as many musicians as possible a chance to perform this fabulous music!
Kammerchor's mandate is to perform high quality music in an intimate chamber setting with a focus on early music, and provide opportunities for local professional-calibre musicians.
As a registered charity, sponsor and donor contributions help promote the continuance of this type of performance in the London area. It is fed by love of the music, working with musicians of like mind, and performing for an appreciative audience.
Kammerchor London is the 2020 and 2023 Forest City London Music Awards recipient in the Classical Choir category.
