Our mission at Karen's Place London is to offer transitional shared living quarters for older women who are homeless, precariously housed, or have no fixed address.  At Karen’s Place, unhoused women over the age of 50 who want to rebuild their lives can live with us for a period of up to two years. With the support of the Canadian Mental Health Association, our residents commit to a program that helps them heal, regain confidence, and learn the skills they need to thrive again.  The main areas we focus on are Physical and Mental Health, Social Reintegration and building the many skills needed to live a healthy, happy and safe life.  We are committed to promoting and maintaining the client's transition to living more independently in the community.  We believe a supportive environment in our home will give each woman the opportunity to realize their own transitional journey.  With community support, we can continue creating a safe and healing place for women who need it most.
