Kaslo Community Acupuncture Society

about

Kaslo Community Acupuncture Society is a non-profit society with charitable status. We offer bi-weekly barrier-free acupuncture treatments by donation or pay what you can.

We are inspired to build a healthier more resilient community by reducing preventable ailments through consistent treatment. We serve quite a large community of people located in and around Kaslo, British Columbia on Kootenay Lake.

Our service provides Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments to all, including the vulnerable population here. We make these services accessible to those who would not be able to access these treatments otherwise.

Acupuncture is an ancient, well researched practice that improves health and wellness. Our registered practitioners care deeply about each patients health and wellbeing, and in the coming years we hope to welcome more practitioners to our team in order to offer the clinic on a weekly basis. We also hope to secure our own permanent clinic location and much more.

Our Community Acupuncture Clinic is a quiet group setting with a maximum of 5 patients at a time. We have anti-gravity chairs, blankets and cushions for each patient's maximum comfort. Acupuncture can help with many types of pain, including chronic pain and joint pain. It can help with mental health, depression, mood, anxiety, stress and addiction. It can also help with circulation, blood pressure, heart health, insomnia, sleep related difficulties, hormonal health, digestive disorders, migraines, headaches, immune system health, skin health, allergies, rashes and all around organ support. In our clinic, we help our patients with these and a wide variety of health challenges in order to assist in maintaining health, vitality and balance.

Because we are not yet funded by public health services, we rely on donations and grants to run our clinic and anything helps! We appreciate your support deeply.
