Katie Cares is raising funds to purchase new mattresses for the cottage. The mattresses we currently have are coming up to 8 years old and starting to show their age. They are starting to sag due to the amount of use they have seen. At Katie's Cottage we have guests who are dealing with a loved one in hospital, often the medical issues are serious. We believe in providing the highest standard to provide the best care and stay at the cottage. While the loved ones are dealing with medical issues. By providing a clean, comfortable place the guests can hopefully relax, and get some much needed rest. By providing a comfortable bed and accommodations the guest is rested they are able to care for their loved one in a caring manner and hopefully they aren't overwhelmed and can deal with things as they come up easier.
