International Kawasaki Disease Symposium

The International Kawasaki Disease Symposium (IKDS) is the premier international summit where researchers and health professionals gather from around the globe every 3 years to exchange knowledge and make a difference in the lives of children afflicted by Kawasaki disease. For the first time in its 42-year history, the IKDS will be held in Canada under the Co-Presidency of Dr. Nagib Dahdah (Professor of Pediatrics, Université de Montréal) and Dr. Adriana Tremoulet (Professor, Dept. of Pediatrics, University of California San Diego).

Kawasaki Disease Canada and Kawasaki Disease Foundation of the U.S., along with sister non-profits from other countries, will be joining this scientific event to enrich our knowledge, network with international experts in Kawasaki disease, and advocate for better outcomes for Kawasaki disease patients.

As part of the registration process for the 2024 symposium, Kawasaki Disease Canada is accepting donations that will be used to cover expenses related to educational aspects of the IKDS. Donations are eligible for tax receipts.
